The Beauty of New Zealand | An Extended Cinematic Journey.

Last year, I travelled through New Zealand with my cameras, documenting some of the most extraordinary landscapes I've ever experienced.

From towering mountains and winding alpine roads to quiet valleys, vast lakes and the changing light of the South Island, New Zealand is a place that feels almost too beautiful to be real.

I'm a commercial photographer and filmmaker based on Australia's Sunshine Coast, but sometimes the best reason to pick up a camera is simply to explore somewhere new.

After finishing my original New Zealand travel films, I realised just how much beautiful footage I'd left behind. Rather than letting it sit on a hard drive, I decided to bring it all together into one extended cinematic journey.

This film follows the trip as it unfolded, combining landscape cinematography, travel filmmaking and sweeping orchestral music inspired by the sense of adventure and wonder that makes New Zealand so special.

No narration, no rushing from one location to the next. Just the landscapes, the atmosphere and the feeling of being somewhere extraordinary.

I wanted to create something you could put on a big screen, turn up the volume and get completely lost in.
